Hi

There are various methods of analysing dreams, many different approaches and many different styles . One of the easiest methods is dream synthesis. This is quick and can be used with any of the other approaches.

Make a list of all the non-human symbols in your dream.

What relationship do these symbols have to each other?

What feelings does the dream invoke?

Were there any conclusions to the dream?

If not, what would be the worst case scenario?

What would be the best case scenario?

Can you see a theme emerging? What is it?

Write your own story to fit this theme and the symbolic elements

I’ll write a suitable explanation as soon as I find a suitable dream. Unless someone wants to volunteer one and we can work through it together?

This is just one method of dream analysis.

However, all the major dream theorists agree on one thing - dream symbols are personal. Dream dictionarys are not necessary
