Dream Symbols

As we have stated before many of our dreams are a way for our sub conscious to send us hidden meanings and messages that can have a big impact on the way that we live our lives. When first starting to understand them it can take some time. After learning how to analyze your dream you have to understand the different symbols to look for.

There are a few methods that will help you to break down each symbol and learn to identify what they mean personally to you. You can use dream dictionaries to learn their specific meanings (these meanings can vary) – but in the end the meanings are determined on what you find in them.

First try to break down the symbol that you found and ask yourself what it means to you on a personal level. A great way to do this is to write the symbol down on a piece of paper and then write the first thing that comes into your head. Often times you will find that characters in our dreams are usually different character traits of ourselves or even a character flaw.

Once you have thought of a few things begin to tell your dream all over again. Only this time you will be adding the meaning of your symbol into it. You will discover just how easily and quickly you can learn the meaning of your dream from this.

Remember that when you are thinking of the different dream symbols that they can be almost anything in your dreams. They can be a person, place, action, color, or anything in general. Many of these things are worth your time to analyze. Sometimes they will have one meaning or they may even have to or three. It is up to you to decide how you want to learn that meaning and how many ideas can come to mind and how you feel when you wake up from it.
