Dream Interpretation
We believe that your dreams do, in fact, reveal intimate knowledge about yourself that your mind, body, spirit or soul is trying to tell you. While using a dream dictionary is a great way to delve into the world of dream interpretation, the tool is only as good as the user. “What does my dream mean?” Well, that’s up to you to find out.
Dream interpretation is the ability to understand what your sub conscious is trying to tell you. It is believed by many that dreams are actually messages that are sent to us from our unconscious mind that can determine what the day holds for us and help us to unravel certain feelings that we are trying to keep from ourselves. All we have to do is to decipher the dreams and understand what they are trying to tell us.
You cannot simply go to a professional and ask them to interpret your dreams. Only you have the ability to do this. There are dream dictionaries that can help you to decipher certain hidden meanings and help you to determine what certain things are being used as symbols or hidden meanings.
Learning how to interpret dreams is a process that one must learn and practice at every day in order to fully comprehend it. The best way to start is to write down exactly what you dreamed about as soon as you wake up from it. Many of us will forget the dream a few hours or even minutes after we have woken up. That is why you need to keep pen and paper by you and write the details down immediately while it is fresh in your mind.
I know that our dreams can sometimes be erratic or unusual. Record everything that happened no matter how odd it is.
Once you have finished describing your dream you will ask yourself a series of questions. First off ask yourself “How did my dream make me feel” and then proceed to write the answer down on paper. Next ask yourself “What real life occurrence did my dream remind me of?” and write that down also.
You may be surprised at how many dreams of ours will remind us of situations happened to us. Those who are able to match up the feelings they had in their dreams will know they are doing great in interpreting the dream.
Sometimes are dreams can be erratic and broken – meaning that they can have several parts to it. When this happens you will need to repeat the questions for each part of the dream and analyze each part separately before putting the pieces together.
Above all else remember that this process can take some time and you may not be able to do it correctly the first time. Just keep practicing at it and before you know it you will be able to interpret each dream you have and be able to prepare yourself for what is to come.
