Dreams About Defecation
By definition, defecating is the final act eliminating waste material (feces) in the human body, and the dream interpretation isn’t exactly surprisingly similar.
Dreams about defacation, while particularly gross, usually indicate that you’re going through some sort of emotional cleansing. Do the events surrounding your life lead you to believe you need to release a strong emotion you’ve been keeping inside, or have recently let out? Stress is a pretty big one here, as is anger and anxiety.
Now, if it’s someone else taking a crap on you, it might represent a feeling of undue disrespect, or that you’re unhappy about getting stuck with other people’s problems.
By the way, some ancient folklore suggests dreaming of feces is an omen leading to future wealth or possessions – especially if it’s in your hand. If that’s the case, don’t wash it. Actually I’m kidding, wash your hands… that’s gross.
